Hi: Just wondering what the status of the micro appliance is, as it appears to be out of stock? Is there any plan to bring more in? If so, will it be the same version (1.1GHz) or will you considering going with a faster clock rate unit?
Thanks
Jon

We did not have that many people interested in the micro appliance. We may get a few more in but not unless there is more interest.
We could not sell many of the 1.1GHz units it seems unlikely that people would pay $100 more for a 1.6GHz micro appliance.
OK, I'll bite. What is a Micro Appliance?

Thanks for the response Andrew. I may still consider getting a Fit PC2 direct to run VB on. Am I correct in understanding that I can purchase the one with no operating system? Or should I get the one with Ubuntu installed?
Also, what is your overall opinion of the quality of the product and suitability for an always on server? I heard they get pretty hot, was that your experience?
Thanks again.
Jon
They work quite well. They get a little warm but not unreasonablely so. No OS is fine.
