Will vortex dual boot off one disk with partitions

Was wondering if the above was possible, as currently have xbmc and one pc, and my vortex stuff on another, was thinking of just upgrading to one big hard drive and use the combo off both, on a smaller pc.

You might be able to run them both at once.
