Thread: E-Books on same server?

    E-Books on same server?

This may be a silly question, but can I use the server (old PC) that I have installed VB on, to house a e-book collection?

I currently have a Kindle, and use a library program called Calibre, which is a fantastic free program, which I guess is to books, what VortexBox is to CD’s and music.
The program also has a built in server option, which allows you to upload to a home server, which may be then accessed by e-readers. That’s how I presume it works anyway.
My question is, can I combine the two, by putting the book collection onto the same server?.. if so how?

If nothing else comes from this, I hope some of the forum users here take something from this… for those who like reading, it is a fantastic program
    Thanks.

I have asked this also on the Calibre foums, see link. http://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...91#post2203591

I hope this is okay, else I will ask it be removed.

You can install it but it will require some hacking!
