Any body no how to make the above read playlists off Logitech Media Server? It will read all the music either through the VBA or through LMS but won't show playlists - am I not doing something obvious? Running 1.10 and 7.7.1. Thanks in advance

No-one? Haven''t heard from Roberts either!
Had several replies from Roberts now and they seem to have tried to help but they cannot get the Roberts Stream 83i to read playlists off LMS. Last night I managed to create playlists on the Roberts itself but it is a fairly laborious task and it doesn't remember them if unplugged! I don't understand why I can play music, create lists but not play the playlists that already exist? Roberts suggested using a different media server but I wouldn't know where to start - any suggestions gratefully received!
Just thought I'd bump this again as there are lots of discussions of alternatives to Logitech products. Apart from not playing the playlists in LMS this works well on wired or wireless connection, has a (simple) display, has a remote, and sounds great for something the size of a small portable radio. If somebody cleverer than me - almost anyone!- and Roberts themselves - can sort the playlist thing, (or maybe a different media server?) then this might be a useful alternative.
Don't all rush to reply at once!
Location 1: VB Appliance 6TB (2.2) > LMS 7.7.2 > Transporter, Touch, Boom, Radio w/Battery (all ethernet)
Location 2: VBA 3TB (2.2) > LMS 7.7.2 > Touch > Benchmark DAC I, Boom, Radio w/Battery (all ethernet except Radio)
Office: Win7(64) > LMS 7.7.2 > SqueezePlay
Spares: VBA 4TB, SB3, Touch (3), Radio (2), CONTROLLER
Controllers: iPhone (iPeng), iPad (iPengHD & SqueezePad), CONTROLLER, or SqueezePlay 7.7 on Win7(64) laptop
Files: Ripping (FLAC) - dbpoweramp, Tagging - mp3tag, Spotify
Shame really then as I said above it sounds pretty good - on FM, DAB, internet radio or streaming and costs about £130/$210, its just the playlist thing letting it down.
I've just been looking at the on-line docs for this thing, and it seems to be using UPnP. Can you tell us: if you turn off the DNLA server on your Vortexbox (use the 'system configuration' icon on your Vortexbox's home page), is the Roberts box still able to play music from the Vortexbox?
(I ask, since you mention LMS above, so I am trying to establish whether that's actually being used by the box.)
Thanks.
Another way to tell is on the LMS web UI the player appears in the
dropdown list at the top right.
