After multiple power outages UPS not working

We had numerous long and short power outages.

Today I logged into my VBA to check on the APC UPS and attempted to invoke apcupsd via the command

/sbin/apcupsd

but it returned this error message:

-bash: /sbin/apcupsd: No such file or directory

Any suggestion about a fix?

If you mean apcupsd, of course the daemon was installed, and it worked until this event. Can it suddenly disappear just like that?

Would you suggest just re-installing it as if nothing had happened? Thanks.

Aargh! But of course!

I completely forgot that everything got wiped out when updating to the current VB version.
