Hi,

Have just built a Vortexbox using an NEC ML250 small form factor pc (1TB hdd, 2GB ram, Celeron D 341 2.93 GHz), Vortexbox Player for play back via optical output from Siig Soundwave 5.1 soundcard.

Player has been successfully configured and am able to listen to music. However, there seems to be lag at the start of each track which means the first couple of seconds (or more) of each song are missed. It is possible to see this hapening visually on the squeezebox GUI itself and dragging the progress bar to the start of the track does not remove the lag - the song always starts a couple of seconds (or more) in.

Is this a problem that has been reported before and/or can anyone suggest where I should start to resolve this?
