I currently have VB installed on one 1Tb drive.
I'm starting to run out of space and have another 1Tb drive spare, which I am going to install.

How can I add this to my Vortexbox to increase the space to 2Tb?
I don't want a raid setup.

VortexBox is not designed to be expandable. But it is based on Linux. You could do some command line hacking to get the second drive to work.

The simplest way to do it:
1. Backup your media library to an external USB drive.
2. Install the second disk in the VB.
3. Reinstall the VB 1.10 ISO. *Presumably you can do the install and have it use both disks.
4. Restore your media library from the USB drive, using the "Restore from USB" button on the USB backup page in the VB GUI.
Another alternative is to use Logical Volume Management tools to add the second drive and increase the size of the lv_storage logical volume, but this requires advanced Linux skills.
You can get some pointers on this from the wiki:*
