Just returned from New Orleans for the French Quarter festival. I used to live there, and this is a city of music lovers-both locals and tourists. The annual Jazz Festival is in a few weeks, with over 300,000 music lovers attending. I really think Vortexbox would be a hit there, and even mentioned it to a local music shop in te French Quarter, The Louisiana Music Factory. They have been around for over 15 years, surviving hurricanes, Tower Records and mp3s. The owner, Barry, was interested in setting up vortex box fueled listening stations. Just thought I would pass this along. Might even be worth advertising in the local music weeklies like Offbeat, Gambitt. Many people have significant cd collections. Great place to get exposure.
