I have changed the default behavior from ripping to FLAC to rip to MP3, but after doing this, the cover art does not show up.* Is there a way to encode to MP3 and still have Vortexbox download the cover art?
Thanks for the help...

Don't know the answer to your question, but could you explain why you're doing this? Are you running on a VortexBox with very little disk storage? *If you have the disk space, ripping to FLAC makes a lot more sense.
You can also install bliss and have it get the cover art for you.

Correct, once you "Hack your box" many features might stop working. You just need to keep hacking until you get the system to work the way you want.
Yea, I know, HD space is cheap, but I am trying to conserve space, and the equipment this is being played across isnt revealing enough to tell the difference between the two.* Might just have to upgrade the HD.
I did see another option when I was in the config file:
copycover=
I'm just not sure that there is a spot to copy the cover from?* Are they even being downloaded when encoding is set to mp3?
Ripping CDs is a very time-consuming process. Many who rip to mp3 to save space later regret it, and rerip to FLAC. You may buy a better sound system in the future. Get a bigger disc drive and rip to FLAC. You'll be glad you did.
Well, Bliss certainly took care of the problem, although after the 100 fixes its time to pay up, so I might just switch back to FLAC and enjoy the higher quality.
Thanks for the help guys.
