I just updated SBServer to 7.5.3 in my PC.
How do I also update SBServer in my VBA?
(The link that appears in the VBA's SBServer merely downloads the setup file).
Thanks.

Likewise.
Some help will be much appreciated!

Andrew has added squeezeboxserver-7.5.3 to the VortexBox repository, so you can install it using the GUI updater or via
yum clean all; yum update squeezeboxserver

Thank you for your as always quick reply!
But where is there an "update" in the GUI? (I only see an "upgrade" option).
I'd rather not mess up with command lines unless I really have to.

Sorry for the imprecise language — "update" and "upgrade" are synonymous. Click "Start Upgrade" in the VB GUI to pick up the new version of SBS.
Sooner or later, if you run into more problems, you'll have to learn to use the command line. Here's how to get started: http://info.vortexbox.org/tiki.....page=Login

In the VortexBox GUI under the upgrade icon click start upgrade. That's it!

Thanks again!
Only place where "upgrading" doesn't cost one $$$ (or miles).
Yes, I will take your advice and PuTTY in -- eventually.

May I suggest a line in your documentation clarifying the use of this function? It's not immediately apparent that "upgrade" means "update," particularly when unrelated stuff such as BLISS etc. appear in the box.

How about us holdouts still at Vortexbox 1.5. Is there a way for us to upgrade to this latest version of SBserver?
Thank you.
