HELP "/Storage" Rollback? - Loss of files!!

    Hey Andrew,

After upgrading my VB today for the new DVD rip software I had a major issue. My '/storage' directory was rolled back to probably the last time I rebooted VB. Have you ever seen anything like this? How could this even happen? Luckily I am restoring from my USB backup (I backup nighly) but wanted you to know this happened. Any ideas? Thanks!

I can not think of any way this could happen. But thanks for posting.

HELP "/Storage" Rollback? - Loss of files!!

Ok....after more research it looks like a disk in my RAID 1 somehow failed. I rebooted my machine and everything is back to normal and this disks seem ok. Anyway I can check my raid status? Through webmin it states that is is degraded and that 1 disk failed. Any suggestions?

I think webmin has a button to rebuild the array you could try that.

FYI....Its a little unintuitive but under "Hardware, Linux RAID" by clicking on the device name (md0, md1) you have to select the "blocks to add back", then it will start rebuilding. Think I am good to go. Thanks!
