spontaneous volume changes

It seems that occassionally the volume changes spontaneously. This is WITHIN a track so it is not track gain or album gain. And volume adjustment is set to "no volume adjustment."




I am using Vortexbox Player connected via USB.




Has anyone else experienced this or have idea on what might be causing this and how to fix?

When you say that you're connecting via USB, does this mean you have a USB DAC?

Yes, exactly. I am using the VortexPlayer output via USB to a DAC with USB input.
