Is is possible to install from a Flash/Thumb drive?

I'm running Mac OS X and would like to install Vortexbox on a fitpc2 (that does not have a optical drive).

Can I copy the vortexbox-1.3.iso to a flash drive, stick it in the fitpc2 and have it install on a drive that is currently formatted as a Mac HFS+ drive (realizing that the data on the drive would be wiped)

I realize that I can buy a fitpc2 pre-installed with vortexbox, but I would like to build my own.

Unfortunately you can't load VortexBox from a flash drive you need a USB CDROM. We may offer this option in the future.

Can I attach a drive to my MacBook, burn the iso to the disk, then install the drive in a fit-PC2?

I would really like this option as my disk drive is broken. Is there any alternative way to install???
