How can I configure VBA ripper to place songs in filesmusicflacartistalbumsong format so that all Bob Dylan albums appear under his subdirectory? Any downside to doing that? Any way to reorder albums (only about 15 now) already ripped or must I re-rip them? Thx.

Thank you, steveh. Do I need to download nano? Also after I make these hacks, if I rescan my VBA music will it be reorganized in new directory structure?

I can't recall whether nano is installed or not but ' yum install nano' should solve it. Can you not create the structure and rename the folders you've already ripped to save time? Via smb share //vortexbox/files/music /flac and then cut'n'paste.

Squeezeboxserver will not alter the file structure
