Several VortexBox users have reported that cover art was not being retrieved for new ripped CDs. It turns out that Amazon changed their API and our Cover Grabber was no longer working.

I updated the Cover Grabber to work with the new Amazon API. Please use the upgrade button in the VortexBox web GUI to resolve the problem.

No. VB 1.5, running on Fedora 11, is no longer supported.

As far as I know, no further updates will be made to this release.

Hello

 

I solved my install problems (turns out it may have been related to an unsupported ethernet) – a newer pc.

 

Will using the "upgrade button in the VortexBox web GUI" solve this problem since I'm still using version 1.10 of vortexbox?

 

Apologies in advance.

If not, how do I get cover art to work manually? Sorry, I have read previous questions on the forum (searched), but confess I do not get the "simple" concept of putting the files in a folder on the hard drive from the "client". Must this be done from the command line?
