Hi

I'm looking to get a vortexbox and I'm in Canada. Can anyone share their experiance of importing one of these devices.

How long did it take, what were the additional costs for duty etc above the $25 shipping.

This shipping to Canada is only $15. The VortexBox is shipped via US priority mail. It should take about 2 days to reach the border and about 2 days to reach you from customs. Customs is highly variable and depends on how busy they are. It can take from a few days to a few weeks. Although its usually fairly quick.

You will also need to pay GST as you would on any product you buy in Canada. This is %4 GST plus any provintial tax. I think the Canada Post also charges an $8 processing for collecting the tax.
