Hi,

Is it possible to set up Vortexbox so I can access the storage folder by USB 2.0 (with a usb A/A cable) and connect it to my Samsung BD-C7500 player instead of dnla?

No, ufortunally there is no way to do this. Copy the files from your Samsung to your VortexBox.
