10 Mar 09 Mirroring your FLAC collection as mp3 or Apple Lossless (AAC)

I like to keep my music collection in both FLAC and mp3 formats. FLAC is good for lossless playback on Logitech music players, VLC, and XBMC. mp3 is good for playback on iPodes and other small music players that don’t support FLAC.

VortexBox automatically rips to FLAC. If you have usedg EAC or some other program you can copy your FLACs over to the \\files\music\flac folder on your VortexBox.

To mirror your collection use the Flac Mirror screen in the GUI. This will allow you to start a FALC mirror processes or setup mirroring to happen after a CD has been ripped.
