Password challenge

Am having trouble with the password - install completes fine - system is viewable through use of http on home network. However, system does not accept the password given during install - have reinstalled several times but get same results.


Any suggestions for a work around?

silly question but where are you entering the password?




You will get a login prompt the username is root and the password is the password you entered.

Its your regular user name and password as in when you startup your computer or upgrade some software, not root and pw
