Just got my VortexBox Appliance and it's great! Ripping and streaming from VBA works perfectly. I would like to be able to listen to Pandora (for which I have an account) from the appliance.
When I try to access Music Services from SqueezeCenter (7.3.3) I get the error message...
There was an error loading the remote feed for Pandora: (A SqueezeNetwork account is required for this service. Please access SqueezeCenter Settings -> SqueezeNetwork with a web browser to configure.
...The same happens for any of the music services. Any ideas for troubleshooting this problem? I'm running XP/Windows.
Thanks,
Bill

Hi,
Slimdevices/SqueezeBox/Logitech recently revamped and renamed SqueezeNetwork to http://www.mysqueezebox.com. I think this is a potential cause of your problem.
Vortexbox 0.9 has not officially been updated to this latest version 7.4 which changes both SqueezeCenter and SqueezeNetwork. Currently there seem to be many unresolved issues with this update (see http://forums.slimdevices.com (http://www.mysqueezebox.com. ) I would not recommend forcing an update/upgrade to 7.4 until Andrew tests it.
As a work around, I think going directly to the Webpage http://www.mysqueezebox.com and logging in/creating an account and then manually entering your Music Service username password should propogate backwards through the Vortexbox to the physical devices you have. You should then be able to play Pandora etc on a networked SqueezeBox device (not the Vortexbox appliance – see below).
Below is another potential cause of your problem.
Of note: SqueezeSlave, which runs on the Vortexbox as the player, is not recognized as a “legitimate” device by some services (it does not have a “real” MAC addresss) and won't directly play those services – I think Pandora is one. To get Pandora to play on SqueezeSlave it needs to have been synced to a physical SqueezeBox device like an SB3 or Boom etc) so the Music Service sees a “real” MAC address.
