Cd drive just ejects the cd now??

I have ripped about 30 cds, and now the external usb dvd drive just ejects the disks, after about 5 seconds, on the monitor it says, Buffer io error on device sr0, logical block 75. I tried another old drive sitting around and it does the same.

I restarted the computer and its working again.

I have seen this a few times. it is usually cause by a copyprotected CD crashing the CD ripper software. reboot is the correct way to fix it. I am working on a better way to handle the error.
