Hello!

So I've spent a few hours reading, and I think Vortexbox might be for me! I go to the download page, click the link and…

“Error 404: Page Not Found. Sorry, but you are looking for something that isn't here.”

Bummer huh. The link in question is:

http://vortexbox.org/vortexbox-0.9.iso

I do apologise if someone has reported this already, but I couldn't find mention of it elsewhere.

But since I'm here, I'd like to ask a quick question about the software:

So as I understand, the new version rips automatically into FLAC. Whilst I appreciate it's probably a superior format, can you set up VB to rip only into Mp3? (Old habits die hard :P)

Regards,

Chris.

The dowload link works for me. There is a menu option that mirrors the FLACs as mp3s. If you want to rip directlly to mp3 you need to modify a few config files.

Hm, it certainly seems like an odd (perhaps isolated) problem. It works fine on my other computer (winXP, google chrome):

And also works ok on the same computer with firefox 3.5.2.

But on the computer I was talking about yesterday...

This is with Firefox 3.5.3. On windows XP.

..I had a question about setting up too. I've been reading the documentation available on this website. In this article:

http://vortexbox.org/documenta.....-now-what/ (http://vortexbox.org/documentation/ok-i-installed-it-now-what/)

They talk about the need for music files to be in different locations depending on whether you want it to be available on squeezecenter or if you want it to be available to DAAP/itunes etc. Does this mean if you want it to be available to both services, you need to duplicate the music to two locations? Namely:

/files/music/mp3

/files/music/flac
