I ripped a large number of cds. Approximately 50% show as unkown artist, track name, album. Why?

What is the best way to fix data?

The data for your CDs is not in the on-line database. Use a program like mp3tag to tag them properly.

mp3tag is a great program for tag editing. It is a Windows application. However, you can run it on a Mac by using Codeweaver's Crossover application:

This app costs $40. I am using it on my Mac Pro to run mp3tag (which is free) and it works well.
