I've just installed VB and ripped my first cd.
VB correctly identified the artist, album and titles, but downloaded the artwork from another album bt the same artist.
How can I change/update the artwork? I know the folder is read only.
tks

VortexBox scrapes Amazon.com for the art and sometimes gets in wrong. You can write to the /files/music folder. The /music folder is read only. Just go to Amazon get the correct cover art. Name it cover.jpg and put it in the folder of your album. You will need to put one in both the flac and mp3 foldersl.

Worked great. Thanks.
I see how the file structure works now.

Can I just put the correct jpg in the folder as COVER.JPG, or do I have to create all the variations (thumb, folder, albumartsmall)? I want the jpg's to show up everywhere they are supposed to.
Also, I've read in some posts that there are for-pay databases that do a better job of looking up the titles, artwork, etc. What are these pay databases and if I wish to use one, how do I get VBAppliance to use them when ripping?

The cover.jpg is all you need for SqueezeCenter. Some other program like XBMC use folder.jpg you don't need the others.
There are at least 4 different pay databases unfortunately you have to sign OEM agreements and do all kinds of integration work to get them working. I have started talks with a few of them but things are moving slowly since these companies stand to make very little money from VortexBox and I don't have a programmer to do the integration work.
